I stayed here overnight for a quick weekend getaway. The hotel is gorgeous and located right in the middle of downtown Asheville. There are plenty of restaurants & small shops within walking distance. There is street parking which is $2.50/hr, a parking garage within walking distance which is $15/day, or on-site valet for $19/day. I had the corner suite with a large living room area, huge bedroom with windows throughout the room, and a large bathroom with a jet tub. The room was beyond spacious, clean, and comfortable. I'd highly recommend them.

WOW!!! THIS HOTEL IS A DIAMOND!!! We were so intrigued by the design and style of this hotel! We were in Heaven here! The inside of this hotel is fascinating! We were completely amazed at its stunning suite! I cannot say enough in words how beautiful the inside is! The windows in the suite tower above you for an amazing view between the city view and the sky. The bed was so plush and comfortable! The bathroom was so elaborate! You felt like you were taking a bath in the jacuzzi tub "in the clouds". The rest speaks for itself. This hotel feels like staying in a palace. It is very elaborate and location is prime. Staff and valet very friendly and attentive. There is remarkable history here and luxury by design. A very "rare" treasure, to say the least!

Had a great stay in Asheville recently. We thought about canceling this trip planned months ago before the devastating storm hit, but emails from the Biltmore Estate convinced us that they wanted tourists to return back to the town. The Haywood has a great location close to all the places you'll want to walk to in the downtown area. For that reason alone this hotel is a great place to spend a night or two. What we also found was very friendly and helpful staff who genuinely seemed to be interested in us and our visit. We felt welcomed to the town and that helped us not feel like we shouldn't being be here, possibly in the way, so soon after the devastating storm. Our room was a large suite with corner windows overlooking the downtown area. It had very nice decor with just the right amount of vintage touches still present to let us know the hotel was over 100 years old. Nice blend of contemporary and historic design. Downtown is recovering pretty quickly as we saw things. Hours seemed to be shortened at many places, but most businesses were open. Make sure to check on closing times. We had a late reservation for our Biltmore tour and got back to town close to 9. This was when most restaurants stopped serving. We did find that the Bier Garden was open until 10 and had a good meal of burgers and fries. We are glad we made the drive over to Asheville and will definitely stay at the Haywood on any future visits!

This hotel has been a godsend to so many in the midst of the disastrous effects of Helene. Our area was hit in a devastating way. Haywood Park Hotel opened its doors to a mass of FEMA approved guests and their pets. Having such a beautiful place, at which to heal and recover was more than amazing. With a skeleton crew, limited resources and a smile for all.

Everyone here has been amazing! I have traveled professionally for so long in chain hotels that I forgot how nice luxury was. Derek was awesome to me and my lady. Everything was handled professionally and quickly. I can say for certain we are not looking forward to leaving
