Yesterday I wrote a bad review about Haywood Park Hotel. The issue was a cancellation that I had booked through Expedia. As soon as General Manager Victoria received my complaint she contacted me last night to apologize and correct the situation. With that said I'll say once again this is one of the Top 2 places to stay in downtown Asheville NC. The rooms are two or three times as big as the other newer hotels. They are well furnished, very clean, and the staff is exceptional. It is located in the middle of everything. We are local and have stayed at every hotel in downtown just to try them out. You can't beat this and the prices are very reasonable. I once again highly recommend that you stay here when you come to visit the area.

Fantastic place to stay in Asheville. Highlights: Exceptional staff. The valet we met, William, went above and beyond to help us park our hightop van, and had excellent dining and brewery recommendations. The hotel manager, Veronica, was very helpful getting us situated and checked in and provided us with more insider tips. The hotel rooms are very spacious and given the size reasonably priced compared to others in Asheville The hotel itself if in a great location for food, breweries, live music. We loved our trip to Asheville and its large part because of the experience at the Haywood Park. Highly recommend.

What a GREAT place to stay. From the time we arrived until the checkout was a 10+.The room was soooo clean and well equipped, A very quite and safe feeling location.We walked to dinner both nites.We are frequent visitors to the Ashville area and you can bet this will be our go-to hotel. They treat you like you are a valued customer and that means a lot to us. Some of the "Big Boys" need to take some lessons from these folks.Just an overall great experience.

Super cute historic hotel right in the middle of everything.

Wow! Reading previous reviews, we would not have chosen this hotel. But it was clearly not our experience! This is a lovely boutique hotel with exceptional hospitality. For price point alone it’s a great value for what you’re getting. Rooms are spacious and clean, with great room designs to actually put you’re belongings neatly away . It’s almost “clutter proof.” And if your an avid traveler… you would appreciate all the additional counter space and roomy bathrooms to place your toiletries and belongings. This place is dog friendly ($50 one time fee) and they provided valet parking(in/out) $19 daily. You just respond “car” and they get you’re car pretty quick, we even came on a holiday weekend!

Everything was great about our stay. The one issue I had about parking they didn’t even hesitate to refund and resolve. Without asking, they upgraded my room. The room was massive and wish I could have moved in for a week. It is slightly outdated, but it’s part of the character.
