My husband and I stayed at Haywood Park Hotel for a weekend getaway. The check in staff was friendly and professional. Having not stayed here before we weren’t sure about the parking for the hotel. We went around the block several times trying to find the valet spots in front of the hotel available. Without success we parked in the Wall Street parking garage and walked a few blocks back to the hotel. Our room was very beautiful. Lots of space. Updated decor. Very big bathroom. Very comfortable bed. We had meals at the Bistro downstairs. The service was a 10 out of 10 each time we had a meal. The food was beyond delicious. The food was excellent. The only “issues” we experienced was 1- not being able to use the valet parking. 2- although our room was very nice our view out the window was another building, would have preferred a street view over a block wall and lastly 3- the water pressure in the shower was minimal to none, would have loved to be able to enjoy a nice, long, hot shower 😀. We plan another trip to Asheville soon and will stay with Haywood Park Hotel. Will be sure to book a room with a view. Hopefully be able to use valet parking. And Pray the water pressure in the shower is adequate.

I chose to splurge on the hotel for a night. The photos online are from afar to miss the details to show how the rooms are dated. The rooms are large which is a bonus, but the view was lacking, and the walls are paper thin. Would I stay here again? Probably, but would look for other places first. I wish I'd chosen Cambria Suites for my lone stay as I met up w my friend the following day to stay there. What a difference for about the same price (only missing an included breakfast).

The breakfast restaurant service was awfully slow.People who sat after our us got their food well ahead of us.When we asked our servers when our food would arrive one told us I don't know this is my first day and the second person was frazzled.If you plan on eating there give yourself more time then you normally would.We opted not to eat there the next morning as we had to get to a timed tour.
