Spacious rooms upgraded nicely

This hotel is a hidden GEM right in the heart of downtown Asheville. My wife and I stayed there for a long weekend. It was the perfect location for walking around and taking in the beautiful sights. Best Hotel Ever!

My husband and I stayed here in November for a long weekend and it was wonderful! Upon arrival they gave us a complimentary glass of champagne and staff were extremely courteous. The interior had a unique feel, luxurious but yet hints of it's deep history as a department store sprinkled throughout, which made it unique. The room itself was huge and very clean and comfortable. Large windows with views of the town, good quality coffee and coffeemaker, and wonderful large bathroom with tub and double sinks. The beds were very comfortable and we were able to get a great nights sleep. The turn-down gourmet truffles were also complimentary and a nice bonus for chocolate lovers like me. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast at Isa's Bistro and it was absolutely delicious! The location couldn't have been better, just step out the door and you're in the middle of town, everything at your fingertips. We will definitely be staying there again!

Very nice and classy. Rooms are large and comfortable. Location is outstanding.

Excellent attentive staff. One of the best locations if you want to be able to walk most places. Interesting former department store.

Room was so beautiful, staff super friendly, Isas has amazing breakfast, and location is unbeatable. We will definitely be back!
