Excellent staff, clean rooms, and nice location! You can't ask for much more! I was especially in need of the fabulous customer service in order to get in and out of my car and luggage to my room due to recovering from a recent surgery on my foot. Everyone was ready and willing to help with each departure and arrival. The room was spacious and spotless! Amenities included a refrigerator and keurig-type coffee maker, but there wasn't a microwave. Presence of a microwave isn't make-or-break for me, but warming up leftovers from an evening out isn't easily done.

We spend 6 beautiful days. The best the excellent service of the whole staff. Excellent breakfasts at Isa and a very good New Years Eve dinner. Thank you to all.

My father and I stayed here for 4 nights and we had an incredible stay! We stayed in the king suite which had a fully separate bedroom. I slept on the couch (did not pull it out) and slept great. This was the largest hotel room I have stayed in. The double sinks in the bathroom was such a plus. The staff was very kind and helpful - we loved our valets . The history of the building is really cool and added to the experience. This is a great place if you want to stay right in the heart of Asheville - would definitely stay here again!

The only thing I found that had plenty of room to improve was the males who worked behind desk at night and day could stand to be taught some customer service skills. Not very friendly and I might even say rude... valet was more courteous. At such a great higher end place you expect much better service. Both times we visited everything else was great.
